Victoria Park Scarf
This pattern was inspired by leisurely Sunday walks along the beautiful tree-lined avenues of Victoria Park in Bath when I lived there many magical moons ago.
This is a generously long scarf that can also be used as
a wrap, for those crisp autumn and winter days. The
fabric is super warm and cosy - like wearing a luxurious blanket.
This is a densely knit fabric that has an intricate,
tapestry-like look and feel. Knitted in the round and
simply finished by seaming ends with mattress stitch, it is
a straightforward pattern and looks far more complicated
than it actually is. Find a comfortable spot and lose
yourself in mindful knitting.
The result will be a piece of knitted art that, even on the greyest and coldest of winter days, you’ll be able to throw on with whatever you are wearing, with or without a coat, and feel cosy and just a bit glamorous!
