I don’t suppose this lace is unique. I sat down at a conference and simply knit it, without any directions.

Very Narrow Lace is used to edge the slip for the christening gown shown in the book. It would be equally pretty on a handkerchief or lingerie.

Mary’s notes also indicated that she used this pattern as the first one in her 10-week lace course.
