THIS LIGHTWEIGHT cardigan, designed by Bronagh Miskelly, is knitted in one piece. Starting at the back hem, the body is worked upwards, shaping for the sleeves and fronts as you go. It features a simple, all-over lace pattern, with moss stitch edgings; it’s fastened with three little buttons below the V-neck. Bronagh has knitted her cardigan in Eden Cottage Yarns’ Milburn 4ply, which blends Bluefaced Leicester wool and silk, and has a lovely sheen. It comes in a range of soft shades.
PATTERN NOTES
The cardigan is knitted in one piece starting with the back hem.
When working the shaping, always ensure there is a minimum of two
stitches between any yarnover and the edge of your work.
