In mathematics, a vertex is the point where two lines meet.
Taken figuratively, it’s a space in life where people connect, influence one another, and grow. This describes All Wound Up Yarn Shop, for which this pattern was written, originally as a MKAL. Over the past five years, our little yarn shop has become a big part of so many lives. We’ve seen friendships bloom and skills reach new heights. It has been a joy to be the intersection - where busy people meet, slow down, and enjoy the creative process of making together. Vertex also celebrates the humble beginnings of all knitters with the basic knit stitch. Worked primarily in garter, this shawl is for every skill level - especially beginners.

You’ll need:
1 x 100 grams (400 yards) skein of fingering weight for the Main Color
4 x 25 grams (100 yards) skeins of fingering weight for Contrast Colors

Solids and tonals will work best, but you may use variegated yarn if you feel daring.
