This sweater blends color and texture in perfect harmony for a classic and comfortable menswear sweater. This casual pullover is worked from the top down with raglan shaping.

Difficulty Intermediate

Finished Size 29 (33.5, 36.25, 39.25, 42.25, 45, 49.5, 53)“ chest circumference. Pullover shown measures 36.25”; modeled with 3.75” of negative ease.

Yarn Baa Ram Ewe Dovestone Natural Aran (50% bluefaced Leicester wool, 25% Wensleydale longwool, 25% Masham wool; 185 yd/3.5 oz): #1 ecru (MC), 4 (5, 5, 6, 6, 7, 7, 8) skeins; #5 brown (CC), 2 (2, 2, 3, 3, 3, 3, 4) skeins.

Needles Sizes 6 (4 mm) and 8 (5 mm): 24–40” circular, depending on size you are making, and set of double-pointed. Size 7 (4.5 mm): 16” circular. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Gauge 19 sts and 26 rnds = 4” in St st on largest needle; 22 sts and 26 rnds = 4” in Bark st on largest needle.
