Verde Musgo
This collar is a tribute to Lavorada, an event that takes place in June in Póvoa do Varzim [[a small fishing town in the north of the country, famous for its Camisola Poveira, a sweater traditionally used by fishermen]. Lavorada comes from the term “lavor”, which means “manual craft”. Dozens of people together in a public garden to share their love for manual labor.
Verde Musgo was thought and designed to be easy to knit, for 20 people on a Lavorada retreat, in a spa in the middle of nature
The tension is not very important for this project, so you can use your favourite weight/yarn for the project. You can easily adjust the size of your collar, using fewer repetitions of each section.
For the collar, we used 1 skein of Terra.
