This first motif is a classic circle to square but with some structural
twists. The dropped down stitches provide added texture, and
working with the back loop only gives added definition to the circles, creating a heightened geometric pattern.

Yarn A: Mustard 28 x 1 ball
Yarn B: Dusty Rose 52 x 1 ball
Yarn C: Maroon 49 x 1 ball
Yarn D: Olive 109 x 1 ball
Yarn E: Orange Red 127 x 1 ball
● 4mm hook

TENSION
Work finished square to measure approximately 8 x 8cm/3¼ x 3¼in using 4mm hook, or size required to obtain tension.

MEASUREMENTS
Headband is approximately 50cm/19¾in circumference once motifs are joined. Headband should stretch slightly around head to fit for snug and comfortable wear. Change hook to obtain
slightly larger tension for extra ease or add an extra square if needed to create a band of approximately 58cm/22¾in circumference.
