Vera is a modern Brioche triangle scarf worked sideways from tip to tip. Its one-edge shaping creates it fluid, chained lines and easy style—just right for a first brioche project. The simple construction and adaptable sizing let you use any yarn weight or leftovers from your stash. For yarn planning, note that the increase section uses about twice as much yarn as the decrease.
No I-cord, no purl stitches—just smooth rhythm and texture.

You automatically receive a 15% discount if you purchase 2 or more patterns from my Ravelry Shop at the same time (i.e. in ONE transaction, place them all in your cart before you check out). No code needed.

Construction Note
Vera is a symmetrical triangular scarf worked sideways—from one tip to the center, then back to the opposite tip. Shaping takes place on one side only, increasing every 6 rows and later decreasing every 6 rows.
Yarn amount: I used 2 balls of DROPS Kid-Silk for the light sample, and slightly less for the gray (smaller) version with leftovers. To get proper drape and coverage, I suggest not going below the listed finished measurements for the smaller size, and choosing your yarn with that in mind.

Finished Measurements
Smaller Size — grey sample
Length from tip to tip: 43¼ “ / 110 cm
Center depth: 19¼ “ / 49 cm

This is the minimal length that gives the scarf a comfortable, wearable size to wrap once around the neck
