The Velma Cardigan is a cropped, drop-shoulder button-up cardigan worked almost entirely out of HTR. It’s made using Aran yarn so it’s super squishy and very quick to work up! It’s an incredibly versatile make: you can wear Velma open, buttoned and with or without a layer underneath.

The HTR rows are worked vertically to produce a knit-like ribbed effect with the magic of crochet. The cardigan is worked flat in simple shapes then sewn together to form the garment. It’s a very simple make: perfect for beginners and experts alike!

Bust sizes given as XS (S, M, L, XL, 2X, 3X, 4X, 5X): 90 (100, 110, 120, 130, 140, 150, 160, 165) cm, requiring 739 (804, 909, 1015, 1136, 1261, 1378, 1491, 1546) metres of Aran yarn.

This pattern is available in both UK & US terminology so you don’t have to translate stitches
