Vehnä is Finnish for ‘wheat’.

Vehnä Shawl is a triangular shaped shawl which is knitted flat with a fingering and lace weights yarns held together. The shawl is knitted by starting from the bottom tip where you do increases until the ribbing edge. On one side of the shawl, you have textured pattern that consists of cables, twisted knit stitches and Dip Stitches and on the other you have Garter Stitch. The textured pattern has cables and Dip Stitches (other name Wheat Ear Stitches) portraying as wheat fields.

Needles: 3.5 mm / US 4 circular needles with 80 cm / 32-inch-long cable
