Valma sweater is knitted starting from the shoulder parts moving downwards. The sleeves and folded neckband is knitted separately. The pattern is repeated only on the front side of the sweater.

YARN:
Drops Karisma (50 g/100 m) or other similar strength yarn.

KNITTING NEEDLES:
4 mm circular needle (80 cm cable) AND
3.5 mm circular needle (40/60 cm cable) for knitting the neckline. Double pointed needles for knitting the sleeves.

YARN USAGE:
S/M: Approx. 570 g (12 skeins) L/XL: Approx. 620 g (13 skeins)

GAUGE:
Approx. 21 sts x 28 rows (stockinette stitch)

OTHER MATERIALS:
Cable needle for knitting the cables, scrap yarn, stitch markers and a tapestry needle.
