Many people have designed knitted and crochet hearts. You may have a pattern or two, but here is mine.

The largest heart needs to be knitted from the top end of right side (the right side of the heart, and in the photo, left side because it is facing you). You cut the yarn and keep the stitches on a holder and when you make the other side, you connect them together. For the other sizes, you do not need to do so.

They are all knitted flat with a pair of 2.75mm (US 2) needles and sewn together at the end. Easy and quick project.
