V is for Violet, P is for Patience and F is for Fingering. See where I’m going there?
It did take me a lot of patience to whip up this hat pattern made in a beautiful superwash merino/nylon mix, but fear not! While I did frog a couple of tests before I got to this lovely beanie, V is for Violet is a quick make as it is crocheted with half double crochet stitches and a single crochet V-stitch section.
It is a beanie intended to be very slouchy, a breezy and light mid-season hat that you’ll wear to show off your style!
Created in collaboration with Sac’Amé, who even called this new colorway of hers Amy!

2,25 mm hook
2,75 mm/C hook
285 (330, 265, 390, 420) yards of fingering weight yarn.
I used Sac’Amé’s Alyster in colorway Amy (80% merino superwash, 20% nylon)

Ça m’a pris beaucoup de patience et plusieurs essais pour concocter ce patron fait d’une jolie laine de mérinos et nylon, mais ne vous en faites pas, je vous évite le processus de création !
V pour Violette se monte rapidement bien qu’elle soit en laine super fine, puisqu’elle est construite de demi-brides et d’une section de mailles serrées en V. Cette tuque en est une de mi-saison, légère et qui se porte lousse et tombante. En la portant, vous montrerez vraiment votre style !
Conçu en collaboration avec Sac’Amé, qui a même nommé cette nouvelle couleur surprise Amy!
