Uwland
Uwland is a cowl of gratitude; a cowl that says thank you, a cowl to gift, a cowl to keep, a cowl to treasure. It is the warmth slipped around a friend’s shoulders on a cool evening, the quiet gesture that needs no occasion, the kind of handmade thing that carries feeling in every stitch.
This cowl is knit seamlessly and features an easy to work lace pattern. Delicate yet durable, the lace breathes with an airy elegance that belies how simply it is constructed; a pattern that rewards beginners and satisfies the experienced knitter alike. It can be worked in three different sizes for different effects, and works up quickly at a looser tension, meaning your gift of time is never too great a sacrifice.
Construction:
Uwland is knit seamlessly beginning with the choice of either a long-tail or tubular cast on. Ribbing leads into a lace body, before casting off with either a tubular cast off or EZ’’s Casting -on Cast off.
Lace pattern is both charted and written.

Medium: 7½ x 13 inches/19 x 33 cms

Large: 11½ x 26 inches/29 x 66 cms
