This pattern was originally published as Ritual Dyes’ contribution to the 2025 Rose City Yarn Crawl, March 6-9, 2025 in Portland, Oregon. This pattern is also available for download as part of the 2025 Pattern Collection: Our Sky Full of Stars

The night air is crisp. The back of your neck tingles. A low hum begins to take over. When you look up, a stunning dance of buttery glowing lights unfolds in the depths of the sky. The crisp air begins to envelop you into a slumber. When you wake, you begin to paint the visions of your evening, but the images are hard to recreate - so you make a beanie. I give you the UrFO Hat. A fun play on the iconic mystery of space imagery. Inspired by the 2025 Rose City Yarn Crawl theme, I wanted a kitschy way to celebrate this year’s crawl.
