These socks, worked cuff down, are a great option to make as gifts since they are a bit forgiving when it comes to size. The 1x1 ribbing in the cuff and the 2x2 ribbing in the leg and foot allows the sock to stretch to accommodate a range of leg circumferences. In addition, the pattern provides several size options, so giftees can range from child to adult. Or make a pair for yourself! The pattern provides for three different toe options as well, so if you prefer not to graft the toes, you don’t have to! Contrasting cuff, heel, and toes allows you to use those smaller lengths of yarn you might be holding onto; or work these in one color if you prefer.
