Finished Measurements:
• 54” (137 cm) wingspan
• 18” (45.75 cm) depth at center back

Materials: 3 skeins (230 yards/100 grams) Alisha Goes Around Pulchritude of Peacocks DK (80% Merino, 10% Nylon, 10% Cashmere), color Parthia

Needles: size US 7 (4.5 mm) long circular, 1 size US 8 (5 mm) double pointed needle for bind off

Extras: 2 stitch markers, tapestry needle for weaving in ends, blocking tools

Gauge: 18 sts and 30 rows over 4” in stockinette stitch

Be aware that any difference in gauge will change the size of your finished shawl, as well as the amount of yarn you need to knit it - more stitches to the inch will mean a smaller shawl using less yarn, and vice versa.

Notes

This shawl starts in the center back and works out and down. Every row until the edging has increases at either side, however some of the eyelet rows also have hidden increases to give the shawl the shoulder- hugging curve.

Each of these rows is written out, but since I prefer to work from charts I have also included charts of each Hidden Increase Row, these appear at the end of the pattern. Only the stitches between the markers are charted.
