Understory
Mix-and-match the layers of these swap-able fingerless mitts. Make any number of liner gloves and outer gloves for more and more options!
The understory is the layer of plants and shrubs that grow beneath the forest canopy. The arching eyelets on these fingerless mitts give a peek at what lies beneath – an “under” glove knit out of a special fingering weight yarn that, just maybe, holds a story.
Three sizes are given that will work at the specified gauge. Instructions are written as Little Kid (Bigger Kid/Small Adult, Larger Adult)
• Understory gloves are made in two layers – a fingering weight liner glove and a Worsted or DK weight outer glove.
• Either of these layers can be worn alone, or they can be worn combined as shown.
• They’re mix-and-match-able. Make several liner gloves to change your look, or to give as a fun gift with options to play with.
• Liner gloves are interchangeable; that is, every glove is the same no matter what hand it’s to be worn on.
