Yarn Blue Sky Fibers Bulky (50% alpaca, 50% wool): #1223 coyote (MC), 10 (12, 14, 15, 18, 20) skeins.

Blue Sky Fibers Extra (55% baby alpaca, 45% fine merino wool): #3520 shale (CC), 2 (2, 3, 3, 3, 3) skeins.

Needles Sizes 9 (5.5 mm) and 13 (9 mm): 32” circular. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions Marker; stitch holders; tapestry needle.

Gauge 9 sts and 13 rows = 4” in Broken rib with MC on larger needles; 13 sts and 18 rows = 4” in St st with CC held double on smaller needles.

Note The body of this cardigan is worked in one piece to the underarm, then divided for working the fronts and back separately. Stitches for the sleeves are picked up around the armhole and the sleeves are worked from the top down.
