Two Stars is a cozy crocheted rug that, due to the thickness of two layers, will feel luxurious under your feet. This project will light up your room with a splash of color and a bold eye-catching diamond pattern with a star motif inside.

The simple construction of the rug allows for many options. You may want to make each side different and flip it over when you feel like changing the look of your room. Smaller motifs can also be turned into coasters, potholders, pillow covers, or chair cushions.

The pattern includes an empty grid layout to colorize and create your own unique design.

MATERIALS

• Yarn: Alara by Ice Yarns, 50% cotton, 50% acrylic, DK/8 ply, 153 yd (140 m) per 50 g skein
• Hook: US G (4 mm)
• Two stitch markers
• Yarn needle to weave in ends

• C1 (green) – 580 yards (530 m)
• C2 (light green) – 429 yards (392 m)
• C3 (blue) – 551 yards (504 m)

FINISHED SIZE

• 24¾’’ (63 cm) from edge to opposite edge going through the center
• 28’’ (71 cm) from corner to opposite corner

GAUGE

Gauge is not crucial for this design. The size of the rug can be adjusted by working fewer or more rounds.
