Two-Needle Mittens for Beginners
by Shelly Kang
This is a great project for beginners to start with, as it offers opportunities to practice ribbing, stockinette, increases, decreases, picking up stitches and seaming all in a small package.
Single-layer plain mittens don’t offer much warmth on a windy day, so this pattern offers instructions for felting into a more wearable product (that will also hide a minor error or two!)
Any worsted-weight wool will do for this project. (Just not superwash if you plan to felt!)
This pattern is available as a single-sheet leaflet through my website.
