Two color brioche stitch and asymmetrical shape with long ends!
This pattern uses 400 m of each colour (fingering weight) but you can experiment with yarns. I suggest light yarns or something airy like mohair or brushed alpaca because there will be a lot of fabric when you twine the shawl around your neck.
