This technique is so simple and clever that sock knitting is even possible for a beginner.

Yarn:
Knit Picks Fingering Weight Yarn; 2-3 balls.
Or approx. 380 yds fingering weight sock yarn.

Shown in Felici Fingering Self Striping Sock Yarn (discontinued).

Needles
Size 3: (2) 24” circular needles. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.

Notions
Darning needle
Two yards sock yarn in contrasting color

You will need two balls of yarn because each sock will be knit from its own ball. Photo tutorial is provided showing steps to make the socks.
