Level of Difficulty - Intermediate
Everyone deserves a cute fun beanie with pompoms, no matter how grown up they are! The Zealana Rimu DK makes for such a warm and soft beanie and the fold-up brim keeps the ears especially cosy. Head sizes vary a lot so knit according to measurement rather than approximate age. The average adult will take the adult size, whereas the large adult size is there for people with lots of wild hair and a big noggin (like me).

Sizes
Small Baby (Large Baby, Small Child, Large Child, Adult, Large Adult),
to fit head sizes 40 (45, 50, 52, 55, 60) cm

Materials

• 1 (2, 2, 2, 2, 3) balls Zealana Rimu, Adorn Silky Merino DK or Bellissimo 8ply
• 3.25mm 40cm circular needle and 4mm 40cm circular needle and dpns (baby sizes use dpns throughout)
• 4 stitchmarkers (contrasting start of round marker)
• yarn needle for sewing in ends
• 2 pompoms (6cm for larger sizes, 4cm for smaller sizes – use stronger yarn for tying pompom if knitting with Rimu)
