Twisted Leaves
Twisted stitches are featured in this triangular shaped shawl. They are a challenge but once you fall into the rhythm of those knit and purl through back loops, you’ll love and appreciate the resulting stitch definition even more!
Knit top down using a twisting cable spine to divide the two growing triangles on each side, the shawl finishes with a fully beaded lace scalloped edge. The top edge is a matching twisted cable.
Beads are always optional……my moto, who doesn’t need a little bling in their lives?!
Charts only. Three size options, Small, Medium and Large using lace, light fingering or fingering weight yarns. I love options!
The instructions include directions for weighing your yarn and getting the most out of what you have. As long as you have .42 of your total yarn left for the Chart Two Charts, you can do as many Chart One repeats and possibly a half repeat as you have sufficient yarn.
Measurements vary due to differences in gauge, approximately 20sts for lace and 18sts for fingering in 4”/10cm and are
(so far) ~
Fingering weight Large: 66” x 28”
Lace weight Medium: 62” x 26”
Lace weight Medium and a half: 66” x 33”
