If you think your outdoor wear could do with an update, this snuggly cowl could be just the refresh you’re after!

The Cabled Twisted Hearts Cowl knitting pattern from TeaCosyFolk was inspired by hearts and topiary trees. I like to think of the pattern on this cowl as a row of heart shaped topiary trees, the sort of trees you might expect to see in wonderland, or a royal garden.

I made the twisted hearts cowl in this deep warm pink shade called ‘Raspberry’ because I thought the colour complimented the heart motif. But it could be knitted in any shade you’d prefer.

The twisted hearts cowl is knitted in Aran yarn using cable stitches. It knits up quite quickly because of the thickness of the yarn and its really cosy and warm.

The heart cables are knitted from a knitted pattern. There isn’t a chart to work from.

The finished cowl is Size: 22cm high and 75cm round.
