Medium and Large Preemie versions:
Yarn: 1/2 ounce of the main color (sock weight) and 5 yards of contrasting color

Needles: US 4 (3.5 mm) and US 5 (3.75 mm)

Gauge: 13 stitches and 17 rows in 2 inches over the twirl pattern

Newborn version:
Yarn: 3/4 of an ounce of the main color (DK weight) and 10 yards of contrasting color.

Needles: US 5 (3.75 mm) and US 6 (4.25 mm)

Gauge: 11 stitches and 15 rows in 2 inches over the twirl pattern
