Twist gives the illusion of a twisting rope or cables by alternating light and dark yarns.

This blanket is worked all in one piece from the bottom-left corner to the top-right corner. New shapes are started by picking up and knitting stitches on previous shapes. The shapes themselves are knitted in garter stitch with increases, decreases and some short rows. A little bit of 3-needle bind off is used in some of the shapes.
