MATERIALS: Allow 13 ozs. of Penelope’s W.B. Melody Knitting Wool, 3-ply (8 ozs. for the cardigan and 5 ozs. for the jumper); 1 pair each of No. 10 and No. 12 knitting needles; 7 buttons for cardigan and six for jumper; a fine crochet hook.

TENSION: Over the lacy pattern, 7 sts. and 8 rows to 1 inch (after pressing) and over the stocking-stitch, 8 sts. and 10 rows to 1 inch.

MEASUREMENTS: To suit a 34-inch bust size. Cardigan length, 20 inches; sleeve seam, 18 inches. Jumper length, 19 inches; sleeve seam, 3½ inches.
