’Tis the season! Grab your nearest bulky yarns and whip up this quick hat (or two) just in time for the holiday season! If you have always wanted to try colorwork, this is the perfect pattern to do that - with 2 colors and bulky yarn it doesn’t get much easier to learn this skill!
YARN
You will need 2 colors, about 100 yards of main color(MC) and 40 yards of contrast color(CC). My sample was worked with Plymouth Homestead Tweed in Charcoal as MC and Cascade Ecological Wool in Natural as CC.

Head Circumference: 20”;
Depth: 8.5”

US#8/5.00 mm – 16” circulars and US#9/5.50 16” circulars and DPNs
TOOLS
1 marker, tapestry needle
GAUGE
16 sts/21 rows per 4” using US#9/5.50 mm needles in Stockinette or size to obtain gauge
