Tutankhamun Illusion
The Tutankhamun Illusion knit is 210 stitches high by 151 ridges of knitting wide (88cm by 65cm in using DK and knitting tightly with 3mm needles) and has been knitted to be viewed from the side.
It is intended to be used as a wall hanging or as the centre of a bed cover.
The completed item, in the colours I chose for the first (orange) version, has a luminous, almost holographic effect. This was bought by Ripley’s Believe It or Not!. The colours in the second version are more subtle using sparkly yarns which do not show well in the photos
The pattern now includes several versions of the chart including one for use on mobile devices where you can view 20 ridges at a time and always be able to see the numbers across the bottom of the chart.
