The decreases create the corners for this head-turning square jacket or shawl. Both versions are worked identically up to the final bind off where sleeves can be made by joining. The bottom flaps are optional. Finish the neckline off with I-cord or ribbon.

• Sizes: One size (Note: Measurements will vary if gauge is different; shaping will work at gauges between 3.5 sts/in and 4 sts/in.) Finished back: 22.5”; Finished length: excluding flaps: 16”; with flaps: 19.5”
• Needles: Two size 10(6mm) 24” circular ndls OR size to obtain gauge; two size 10(6mm) 7.5” dpns for flaps (optional)
• Gauge: 3.75 sts/in and 4 rows/in = 15 sts/4” and 16 rows/4” in Rib pattern
• Yarn Used: Model knit with mohair boucle from Claudia Hand Paints, bulky merino from Claudia Hand Paints and Nature Spun from Brown Sheep (one of each)
