Turkish Van
Persian cat is worked in loopy stitch that is not cut after knitting.
You will also need:
small stitch holders
3 pipecleaners or other small wires
cream sewing cotton for whiskers
The book suggests using:
20g of Kidsilk Haze in Cream held double
5g Kidsilk Haze in Brick held double
tiny amount Cashsoft 4ply in Almond for eyes
tiny amount Cashsoft 4ply in Cherish for eyes
tiny amount Pure Wool 4ply in black for pupils
tiny amount Pure Wool 4ply in Powder for nose
Finished cat measurements are 5.25 inches (13 cm) long and 5.5 inches (14 cm) to the top of the head.
