Une belle tuque dans un motif que j’ai créé pour quelques patrons avec les laines de Sac’Amé. Une tuque est idéale pour se faire la main au jacquard puisque vous avez peu de choses qui vous demandent de la concentration pendant le jacquard, en-dehors de la grille.
Fourniture
• Laine grosseur no 4 (worsted),
J’ai utilisé de la Mathéo de Sac’Amé, 100% mérino superwash, 200 mètres/100 g, couleurs Timilie (cp) et Yvan (cc).
120 mètres dans la couleur principale (le fond, ici la couleur pâle, ou blanc sur la grille)
100 mètres dans la couleur contrastante (la couleur foncée, gris sur la grille).
• Une aiguille circulaire de 3.5, 4 ou 4.5 mm (aig principale) et une de 0.5 mm plus grosse: 4, 4.5 ou 5 mm (pour le jacquard) et 40 cm/16’’.

• 5 aiguilles double-pointes dans votre grosseur principale : 3.5, 4 ou 4.5 mm, ou une aiguille circulaire de 100 cm/40’’ pour terminer le haut de tête (la tuque pourrait aussi être faite tout le long avec cette longue aig circulaire, en magic loop si c’est ce que vous préférez).
• 4 anneaux-marqueurs (dont un est différent des autres).

Échantillons
Petit, avec la 3.5 mm en jersey : 22 m X 30 rgs pour 10 cm/4’’ (tout end)
Moyen, avec la 4 mm, en jersey : 20 m X 28 rgs pour 10 cm/4’’ (tout end).
Grand, avec la 4.5 mm, en jersey : 19 m X 26 rgs pour 10 cm/4’’ (tout end)

This is a nice stranded knitting hat in a design I created with Sac’Amé yarns. A hat is an ideal first project in stranded knitting because there are few things, besides the chart, that require concentration.
You will need
• Worsted weight yarn (no 4),
I used Mathéo from Sac’Amé, 220 yards/100 g, colors Timilie and Yvan
135 yds for main color (here pale color and white on chart)
110 yds for contrasting color (dark color, grey on chart).
• One circular needle size of US4, US6 or US7/3.5, 4 or 4.5 mm (main size) and one circular needle one size bigger: US6, US7 or US8/4, 4.5 or 5 mm (for stranded knitting) and both needles must be 16’’/40 cm long.
See sizes and gauge to know which one you’ll have to use.
• 5 double-pointed needles of main size: US4, US6 or US7/3.5, 4, or 4.5 mm, or, one 40’’/100 cm long circular needle to finish crown of hat (hat could be made entirely in magic loop with 40’’/100 cm long circular needle, if you prefer that way).
• 4 stitch-markers (one should be different than the others).
Gauges
Small with US4/3.5 mm in stockinet: 22 sts X 30 rows for 4’’/10 cm (all k)
Medium with US6/4 mm, in stockinet: 20 sts X 28 rows for 4’’/10 cm (all k).
Large with US7/4.5 mm, in stockinet: 19 st X 26 rows for 4’’/10 cm (all k)
