Tuonen tytti begins from the hem, the sleeves are worked separately and joined to the body for the yoke. This sweater has a flared hem and the yoke is decorated with a simple lace pattern.

The sweater is fitted at the yoke and loose at the hem. Choose a size with approx. 0–1.25” / 0–3 cm of positive ease at the chest.

You can substitute Vuonue Wilhelmi with another fingering weight yarn (or any yarn you can get gauge with). Great alternatives are for example Finnish Tukuwool Fingering, Jalovilla Vuona, Canadian Lichen and Lace Rustic Heather Sport, German BC Garn Bio Shetland or US Brooklyn Tweed Loft.
