Tunique Le Tour was inspired by life in the Eastern Townships. We are casual but fun loving. Amidst the craziness of everyday life, we are lucky to live in an area with so many cultural event: concerts, art galleries. I designed this tunic so that you could just toss it over a pair of jeans to look good and stay warm.

In our area, the local magazine that keeps us informed of what is going on is called Le Tour Thus, the name of the tunic.

So where ever you may live, Tunique Le Tour will be perfect to keep you warm and cozy while looking great!

This tunic is intended to be worn with generous positive ease. Due to the nature of the yarn, the tunic will drape beautifully regardless of your size. The pattern is easily adaptable and includes notes on how to adapt it.

Amelie yarn from Illimani is a lighter-than-air blend of alpaca, silk and Merino wool. This aran weight yarn is actually a finely woven tube of fibre, which gives a thicker yarn without the added bulk or weight. The high silk content gives this light-weight yarn excellent drape and a pleasing texture.

Materials: 6 skeins of Amelie from Illimani Yarns
Needle: Size 6.5mm (US 8) needle
Gauge: 16 sts X 17 rows= 4” after blocking
Size: Finished measurements: 45”around X 24”length, not including the cowl. The tunic is meant to be worn with positive ease.

Amelie yarn can be purchased at

Mont Tricot.
