“Tulips” is a cozy sweater knit top-down in the round, in one piece and with no seaming.
Start by casting-on the stitches for the neckline and work a twisted rib border; the work continues with a series of short rows to raise the back.
The yoke is very full and is knit in a lace stitch and twisted ribs as it is shaped by a series of increases hidden in the stitch pattern.
When the yoke is completed, the stitches for the sleeves are divided from the body and the three pieces are completed separately.
The sleeves are long; all of the borders on the body and sleeves are also knit in twisted rib stitch.

XS (S, M, L, XL, XXL) to fit bust size 76 (86, 96, 106, 117, 127) cm – 30 (34, 38, 42, 46, 50) in.
Shown in size M with bust size 96 cm – 37 ¾ in and with 19 cm – 7 ½ in of positive ease at bust.

MYAK Tibetan Cloud: Ortensia (Sport weight yarn; 100% Wool: 300 m – 328 yds / 100 g – 3.53 oz. skein): 4 (4, 4, 5, 5, 6) skeins (955 1040, 1125, 1330, 1445, 1565 m – 1045 1138, 1231, 1455, 1581, 1712 yds).
Materials for Embroidery (optional):
few meters of blue ribbon yarn the same weight/thickness as the MYAK Baby Yak/Silk;
MYAK Baby Yak/Silk: Dakini (Light Fingering weight yarn; 50% Yak and 50% Silk; 115 m – 126 yds / 25 g – 0.88 oz. skein): 1 skein.
Note: although the quantity indicated is one skein, in reality you will use much less.
Circular needles:
3 mm – US 2 ½ with a 40 cm – 16 in and 80 cm – 32 in cable;
3.5 mm – US 4 with a 40 cm – 16 in, 60 cm – 24 in and 80 cm – 32 in cable. If necessary, please adjust needle size to obtain the specified gauge.
Other:
Tapestry needle and scissors.
1 stitch marker.
Waste yarn.

Gauge:
23 sts and 32 rows/rounds = 10 cm – 4 in in st st using needles 3.5 mm – US 2 ½ (after blocking).

“Tulips” è un maglione dalla linea morbida lavorato dall’alto verso il basso in un unico pezzo e in tondo senza cuciture.
Si incomincia montando le maglie per il collo e lavorando un piccolo bordo a coste ritorte; si prosegue con una serie di ferri accorciati che ne alzano la parte dietro.
Lo sprone è abbondante, è lavorato con un motivo in pizzo ed è modellato da una serie di aumenti nascosti all’interno del motivo.
Alla fine dello sprone si dividono le maniche dal corpo e i tre pezzi sono completati separatamente lavorando a maglia rasata.
Le maniche sono lunghe e tutti i bordi, anche quelli del corpo, sono lavorati a coste ritorte.

Taglie:
XS (S, M, L, XL, XXL) vestono un giroseno di 76 (86, 96, 106, 117, 127) cm.
Le foto si riferiscono alla taglia M indossata da una modella con un giroseno di 96 cm e con un agio di 19 cm.

Attenzione: anche se la quantità indicata è di una matassa, ne userete molto meno.
Ferri circolari numero 3 mm con cavo lungo 40 cm e 80 cm e numero 3.5 mm con cavo lungo 40 cm, 60 cm e 80 cm. Se necessario modificare il numero dei ferri per ottenere il campione corretto.
