This pretty tulip tam will be fun to wear all winter, when the tulip bulbs are hiding under the ground. Even though it is stranded, it is still a light beret that can easily be worn all year round!

This tam is knit in the round from the top down. The chart is repeated 8 times around, use markers if necessary. The center is knit with a large opening, but after knitting around 20 rounds it is easy to pick up a loop from each cast on stitch and pull it tight, using the original yarn end from the cast on.
Remember to knit loosely, use ladder-back jacquard to catch the longest floats or use your favorite way to catch the floats. If this is something new, I’ve included a written explanation for the technique in the matching Tulip Cowl pattern.
