Tuacahn
The Tuacahn shawl was inspired by a special time in my life. My mom and I had a shared love of going to the theater. We went to many performances but the most memorable was at the Tuacahn Center of the Arts located in an outdoor amphitheater just outside St. George, Utah. Together we saw Aladdin, Tarzan and Peter Pan over the years with the amazing sets, vibrant costumes and high energy performances given by the actors. I even brought my knitting and my mom would take “places to knit pictures” for me before the show. The Tuacahn shawl is a generous size and easy-to-memorize lace shawl knit in two contrasting colors. Great for stash diving, Tuacahn can easily be customized to the yardage you have available by decreasing or increasing the number of lace repeats. Highly versatile, the lace pattern would also look great with those precious left-over skeins from previous projects or the ever popular mini-skein sets!
