Oregon is well known for the beautiful white Trillium ovatum. Many mistakenly think it is the Oregon State flower, due to its abundance. Located in SW Portland, Tryon Creek Park is home to the Trillium Festival. The “Friends of Tryon Creek” hold a Native Plant sale each year in honor of the Trillium, also known as “Wake Robin”. The Trillium Festival celebrates the arrival of Spring and one of Oregon’s earliest bloomers – the Trillium. So knit up this Trillum hat as your own homage to Spring!
