Part of our 2019 Craft Designs for You KAL, this Tropical Brioche Hat and Keyhole Scarf Set include instructions for both DK and Worsted Weight yarn versions!

This set is made with simple Brioche increases and decreases. The scarf starts with 1-color Brioche to get used to the pattern, then goes to 2-color for the main section. The Hat is the same pattern with 2-colors in the round. Photos are included for the different stitches and steps needed to make this lovely Reversible Keyhole Scarf and Matching Hat.

The DK version is knit with #4 needles and Lion Brand’s Ferris Wheel yarns “Evergreen” and “Morning Java”. Ferris Wheel is listed as Worsted Weight, but at 90 yards per ounce, it works up as a DK weight yarn.

The Worsted Weight version is knit with #7 needles and Lion Brand’s Heartland “Biscayne” and “Joshua Tree”

Brioche is such a unique squishy fabric: reversible and wonderful to the touch. It doesn’t need blocking, and when your Scarf and Hat are done, they are ready to wear! Each are completely reversible for 2 unique looks!
