From Knit and Crochet with Beads:
The bead patterning in this tank top creates the illusion of cables. The French call it trompe l’oeil, or “fooling/tricking the eye.” The pattern requires no real turning of stitches, but it does turn heads. Sleeves may be added raglan-style to create a full sweater since this tank has halter-type shaping. Dress it up by using a metallic yarn…. Add glitzier beads for painting the town.
