Trifangular
Happy Valentine’s Day! Love is in the air and spring is almost here! And there’s no better way to prepare for the warmer weather than by creating a colourful, amazing accessory like Trifangular! You can use this beautiful pattern to knit a stunning spring scarf, a sunny summer sizzler or even a woolly winter warmer! As it comes in three sizes (small, medium and large), Trifangular gives you the choice of using lace weight, fingering, dk - even bulky yarn! A scarf for every season!
Trifangular is designed for yarns with a color gradient. This model is knitted with Amitola by Lousia Harding Yarns – a fine fingering yarn which turns the Trifangular into a perfect spring accessory. It is very light with only 7oz/200g for a 83”/210cm long and 10”/25cm wide scarf and thus perfect for this in-between climate. You can just as well knit it with Zauberball lace, Noro Silk Garden or thicker yarn.
Trifangular is a modular completely reversible knit. You will join the modules as you go, so no seaming is involved. All instructions are provided in written and charted form. You will find graphics that explain the architecture and how to join the modules, plus ample photo tutorials on the joining techniques. This makes Trifangular a feasible project for most knitters.
The Trifangular version shown in the pattern pages is knitted with Amitola by Louisa Harding Yarns. The other version shown is knitted in Mini Mochi by Crystal Palace Yarns. Since you can choose any yarn weight you like the options are limitless: Schoppel: Zauberball, Zauberball 100, Zauberball Lace, Gradient, Zauberball 6, Edition 3, Edition 6, or XL Klekse; Crystal Palace Chunky Mochi, Mochi Plus, Mini Mochi or Sausalito; Noro Silk Garden Sock, Silk Garden Fine, Flower Bed or any other Noro yarn with color gradients; Lana Grossa Meilenweit, Nordlys by Viking of Norway; Lang Yarns Mille Colori, Mille Colori Baby, Mille Colori Big; Poeoms Sock; Louisa Harding Amitola Grande; Melody by Jo-Jo Yarns, Tarantella by elann.com, and many many more.
Happy knitting,
Ursa Major
