Tricolor Shrug
Fast and fun to crochet, this striped shrug is perfect to pop over dresses for a little extra color and warmth. It’s worked in one piece, with the edging folding over to create a plush collar. This is a fun project for scrap yarn and mini skeins and you can even mix in some slightly thicker or thinner yarns. Sizing is flexible with options to adjust the armhole circumference and the length of the edging. For a slightly racerback look as shown, choose a size with a back width measurement that’s just outside your bra straps, or choose a wider back for more coverage. This pattern is part of the Sun and Fog Collection, a collaboration by indie dyers and designers in the San Francisco Bay Area.
