Trickle Down
The Trickle Down socks are modeled after the beauty of a waterfall in nature—not comprised of straight lines and right angles, waterfalls have texture, curves, and twists and turns that add to the beauty you see. That’s the principle behind these simple lace socks with plenty of stretch and an easily memorized pattern, mimicking the trickling effect of a waterfall.
These socks are knit from the top down, in the round. 2.5 mm needles could easily be used with a slightly thicker fingering weight yarn like Shibui or Claudia Hand Painted.
