TRICKERCHIEF 1 is a basic symmetrical triangular scarf/wrap worked from the bottom up casting on a minimal number of sts at the beginning and increasing to a central point for the first part of the triangle and then decreasing back to the minimal stitch point. It has a slipped side edge and it is from this that you pick up stitches along the angled edges to create various decorative finishes - from a simple garter edge the design then moves on to give the individual knitter ultimate freedom to create a picot edge or a tasselled edge - these samples are made with indie dyed fine sock yarns, namely @duckydarlings and @yarnbyboo that give very unique finishes but also any four ply sock yarns can be used that have 425m per 100g. It is a simple idea and once the basic pattern stitch sequence is mastered it becomes the ultimate mindful piece of progressive garter knitting with a beautiful edge finish to complete at the end. With carefully worked out detailed pattern notes to help any knitter achieve a beautiful shaped scarf/wrap. It has five sizes and three different edges to choose from as well as simply working up the basic design in simple garter stitch. The design is suitable for all skill levels from beginners wanting to improve their basic skills to advanced knitters who need a mindful project
