“Triangle Waves” is a trapezoid shawl with triangle lace pattern, knitted from the bottom up.
You can easily adjust the width by adding or subtracting repeats (Triangle Waves pattern = multiple of 23 + 1 st). Do not pull yarn too tightly when working SSE.

Needles
3.75 mm / US 5 circular needle; 80 cm / 32” or longer – Adjust cable length to fit sts comfortably.

Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Gauge (after blocking)
24 sts and 28 rows = 10 cm / 4” in Triangle Waves pattern (see page 6) on 3.75 mm / US 5 needle (lightly stretched at blocking to open up lace)

Gauge is not crucial, but the difference will affect the yardage and the finished measurements.
