As La Seine passes through the city of Paris, it is traversed by no fewer than thirty seven bridges (trente-sept ponts).
Trente-sept has been inspired by the ponts crossing back and forth over the waterway.

Trente-sept is written in 2 sizes in DK weight yarn (the only difference being the length the scarf is knit for)

CONSTRUCTION
Trente-sept is a pre-looped scarf.
The pattern has you provisionally casting on at the loop and working the Seine Crossing Cable pattern for the length of the loop. Once the loop is constructed, the PCO is released and the work joined in the round. The body of the scarf is worked in the round in stocking stitch at loose gauge – the perfect way to showcase semisolid hand dyed yarn!
You will need to know how to knit small circumferences in the round –such as using Magic Loop, or DPNs. If you do not know these techniques you will need to reference a knitting guide.

This pattern was exclusively available to members of the Red Riding Hood Yarns Winter 2013 yarn club.
The club is now finished, and this pattern is now publicly available
