Treilís
…………..
With its striking cabled brim and elegantly rounded crown, the Treilís hat is a traditional Celtic Band Beanie common along the west coast of Ireland.
You will see many variations of hats made using this method of construction in Irish knitwear shops around the world! I hope you enjoy my interpretation of this popular vernacular design.
Originally published in 2017 as ‘Trellis Hat’. This is an updated and improved version of the pattern.
