Tree Trims: Holly-trimmed bauble
Published 1991
From the Pattern Booklet
“These pretty decorations are all very quick to knit from oddments of yarn. For an inexpensive little gift, the apple can also be made as a novelty pincushion. The measurements are give in the instructions for each design.
Twisted cords:
Make single or double twisted cords of required length for suspending the tree trims. For an unobtrusive cord, use brown yarn and attach the cord as a loop. For a more decorative effect use colour yarn and tie the ends of the cord in a bow.
Safety Note:
In normal circumstances the electric lights which are used to decorate Christmas trees should not present a fire risk. However, it is safest to place all decorations on the tree in positions where they do not come into direct contact with any of the lights.
